Reports — Profit & Loss
What it's for
A clear, accountant-style statement of what you made and spent, and what's left over.
How it works
- Revenue is pulled directly from paid invoices.
- Cost of Goods (for manufacturing businesses) is pulled from what was actually consumed in production, valued at real purchase cost.
- Operating Expenses come directly from the Expenses module.
For retail/trading businesses without a production module, Cost of Goods is skipped and profit is calculated simply as revenue minus expenses.
Pro Tip: The Profit & Loss report shows the current period alongside the previous one, so you can immediately see whether you're trending up or down. Available on the Growth plan.
